We partner with community organizations to offer trainings on trauma informed competencies. These trainings support staff and volunteers in developing a lens to apply to their work and community. We provide in-person guidance on relevant program implementation, on-site training in our curriculum, and ongoing supervision and support of all programmatic elements.
Our offerings are implemented through a collaborative consultation relationship. This results in a tailored and custom delivery specific to each client’s needs.

TRAINING & EDUCATION
Our training provides the building blocks of trauma competencies. We equip leaders with the language and lens to provide trauma informed care and ongoing education support for coaches and peers.

PEER Program
Peers with lived experience connect with each other through lived experience in this highly effective model. We offer guidance in the fundamentals of launching a peer support program, training peers and technical support in implementation.

CAPACITY COACH
The coach person leads system initiatives and coordinates the peer program. They connect directly with people receiving and offering peer support. They are led through intensive one-on-one training and receive ongoing support from our staff.

Research & Evaluation
Evaluation is essential to continuous improvement and sustainability of any intervention. We provide guidance in creating research design and metrics to evaluate existing interventions and our programming.
WHY Community organizations?
Community organizations often interact with individuals who have experienced trauma, such as survivors of abuse, violence, natural disasters, or other traumatic events. Trauma-informed care is a framework that recognizes the impact of trauma on individuals and aims to create an environment that promotes safety, trust, and healing.
